Tad Philipp has worked in photography for many years but with AI for just a few. As he explores the image creation possibilities of each medium he considers how the photographs he takes and the AI images he generates can work together to create more compelling results than either would have on its own. In some his photos lead him to generate complementary AI images. The resulting grouping can challenge the viewer to identify which image was created by which process, and to consider how photography and AI can best work together.
